TREND: Neon

These past seasons I’ve seen how neon has gained relevance and I’m sure it will be a strong trend for 2020. Until now the focus has been on accessories such as earrings, handbags or belts that give a touch of color to the outfit. I plead guilty! I am a huge fan of accessories in neon tones, especially the most daring such as footwear or my hat.

However, fashion houses have already launched their advances for 2020 spring / summer trends and the focus is on retro details that recover the style of the 70s and 80s. One of the trends among the catwalks has been neon, a chromatic constant on the different collections. Houses like Saint Laurent and Balenciaga have presented their palette in bright and cheerful colors such as orange, yellow and fuchsia.

Without a doubt, neon is a daring trend that will give much to talk about during the year. Combined with bold makeup styles, it is a tendency to stand out and dare to bright colors.
