PICKS: Swimsuits

When I plan a getaway on the beach all I can think of is enjoying the sea breeze and sitting in the sand wearing my favorite bikini. I usually get a lot of messages asking for swimwear recommendations, my favorite brands and styles... There's so much to choose from!

So, I've made a list with some of my favorite swimwear trends to watch out for this 2020.

The stylized cuts and patterns that became classics during the 70's and 80's are making a huge comeback this year. The super-high-cut one-piece, neon, prints and ruffles are some of the season must-haves.

Max Top

The T-shirt twist style is a sporty trend we'll be seeing a lot of. I love it because it’s extremely comfortable and perfect for protecting your shoulders from the sun.

Prints

Animal prints will always be sexy, and everything from leopard to zebra it's guaranteed to turn looks on the pool or the beach. Whether it's a bikini or a full swimsuit, you'll find a perfect print for you. .

New Materials

New materials such as velvet and metallics add a vibrant glow to the swimwear trends. Keep in mind that we’ll be seeing a lot of shiny details such as glitter and metallic foils.

High Waist

Comfortable and flattering, the high waist bikini is not going anywhere anytime soon. We've been seeing this classic piece since the 50's and there's a reason: it's curve-enhancing and waist-defining contours make it a must have for every vacation!
